      7:10pm and reboot required

      Still light out so no street lights.

      Nothing in the house has a time set as the drop outs are random between 7 & 8.

      I still have not heard from Tier 3 so sky will be getting a call tomorrow demanding a downgrade.

      Mine failed (though PPP still connected this time) at 19:05:16. Rebooted and it worked fine until 19:48:16 (PPP still OK). Another reboot and it's been fine since then.

      @mossywell

      Those times are close to where my BB dropped and required a reboot.

      Ok network started to slow down and not responding at about 20:55 tonight!! PPP connection then went down at about 20:58 but this is the amazing thing the PPP connection managed to reconnect this time! and I'm back up and running without rebooting..

      Unfortunatly the connection speed kept on going up and down so I ended up rebooting.

      Tonight I removed my ADSL faceplace and connected directly to the master test socket and used a shielded RJ11 cable.

      I am now getting the PPPoA drops also
      I might have been geetibg them before, but the router was reconnecting itself so quickly it was just like a little bit of lag. It has returned since I took my Router out of the test socket. So it is definately noise at my end that is causing it! I am going to replace my faceplate, and see what happens. I willl keep you all updated
