for them to do that they would have to check the computer for everyone every day we talking about hundreds of thousands,

its just easier for them to wait for us to call to tell them

Well still waiting, just looked on the BT tracker site and there is now infomation about my activation, it says I will be activated on the 15th September, so it would seem that Sky make it up as they go when you speak to them.

It does seem that there is a large back log at the moment and both Sky and BT are finding it hard to cope.

Just have to wait a bit longer and see what happens, will keep you all posted.

I would not trust the Non-UK Call centre staff if they said the Sky was blue

Well I have phoned Sky again today got through to someone that seemed to know what they where on about.

To cut long story short my order seems to have got stuck in the BT system what ever that means, the BT tracker website still says I will be activated on the 15th of September.

Sky have promised to look into this and phone me in the next day or two, what really upsets me about all this is the fact that I will have to pay Virgin broadband for another months broadband on the 12th.

      will keep you all posted.

Seems reasonable in that case to negotiate a month or two TV subs, save money on the call too - see my sig!

Well still here waiting.........was due to be activated today 15th September got no idea what's going on now.

Had a look on the BT Tracker site and it now says........ We are unable to determine the status of your order at this time. Please try again later, or contact us for more information.

So there we have it...up against a brick wall...waste of time phoning sky they know nothing I'm just glad I still have my Virgin broadband still going but how long that will last I'm not to sure.

Will keep you posted.............could be a while before this is all sorted out.

      Steve
