      Activation

No router but a live connection.
Who would send this? BT or SKY?
Still connected using my existing ISP.
How long will this connection remain before disconnection?
How long will they take to supply a router?
      Oh dear. Logistics again.

      Re: Activation

If you are still connected to your old supplier, then you are not connected to Sky. If you want to keep the connection don't disconnect your router/modem until the Sky one arrives, or until the connection stops. If you are going on Sky's LLu you should have received your router by now, if you are on Connect it will probably arrive 2-4 days after your Sky connection is actually active.

      Re: Activation

As long as the router stays connected and is not rebooted, will I keep the existing connection?

      Re: Activation

You may, why take the chance of loosing it. Eventually your ISP will switch you off and Sky will be connected. In theory, this should only take a matter of minutes.

      Re: Activation

      Absolutely.
I want to stay connected till my router arrives.
Until then, I cannot log onto the Sky connection.
