vista
I have a new laptop with vista installed on it, I can not get the wireless working at all even though i bought a new usb2 net gear adaptor. For some reason it does not install the whole of it and i am unable to programme in the passwords and set up.
Any ideas please as my hair is thin anyway.

Are you using vista compatible drivers? check the netgear website.

I don't know Vista but from the symptoms, if you were using XP I'd suspect that you've let Windows manage the connection. Either untick that option in the Windows Network settings or just don't use the Netgear utilities.
