    Why am I getting poor speeds?

      Why am I getting poor speeds?

      Im on Sky BB Max and should be getting good speeds but im not even getting any higher than 110kb/s. There must be something wrong here. I attached my router stats below.



      Anyone can help me out?

      Could be one of many reasons for this and I would have a look at the various threads and make a few changes, optimize, etc etc then post a full set of stats.
      One day you are the pigeon, but most days just the statue ...

      Are the stats that you have posted been taken from the test socket ? Behind the removable front cover of the master socket.

      Nope, it was taken normally without the test socket. Want me to do it thru the test socket?

      Yes - if you can, it will show if you have any problem with internal wiring.

      As you can see, you are now syncing 3 times better.

      Now do a speed test and post that too.

      Well thats an almost 4x improvement on your connection speed. You now need to give your router something to do for a couple of hours and then reget your stats - to see if the errors increase - if they dont then I think a call to sky to get you on adsl2 should improve things further ?
