      Help I can not connect to the internet

      i have been on sky for more then a month now and it normally works perfectly fine but today i can not connect to the net i have tried to restart my router lots of times but this has made no difference (by the way i am using my negibours wireless with permission)

      Any suggestions??

      The success connected me to a BT IP and gave me a error page saying the link to my ISP was down

      I had the same problems tonight as you so I guess it was a generla network problem on the Connect package. After an hour or so I got connected to the BT error page so knew that at least it wasn't anything at my end. Hopefully you can access the net through your own connection now as I can.

      i had the same problem yesterday unable to connect, i called sky and they said the connect packege was down nationwide, just hope when i go hom later its back up

      I had no broadband this morning from 10.30am until now 11.40am. It has happened a couple of times since joining sky - connected 10th March. I know it doesn't happen often with me but it is a nuisance, and it is always when you really need it!

      I am currently using my friends PC, My Router and internet has been down for almost a week now, LCP Down and CHAP Authentication Failed.

      I get those, Anyone got any suggestions on how to fix...

      I phoned sky... to them, its a '' Level 3 '' problem...

      its now a higher risk...

      Anyone got any points to make before i go back to NTL... Sky sure does suck!

      from what i can see you have max connection i think you find they are talking about connect in this thread

      but the good news for you is that its a sky problem not a sky blame bt one

      I am on the MID broadband and have only had 3 occasions where I haven't been able to connect or have lost connection since I have been with sky (10th March) however it is a nuisance when it does happen.

      sky_guy2019 I hope someone here can help you, I'm afraid I haven't a clue, I was frustrated when I was unable to connect for 1 hour! How strange that you have just lost connection for a whole week without explanation.

      newskyBOd, I wasn't aware that people here were talking about the 'connect' sky package.

      I think I have only read of one other instance of this on the forum and that was a new connection. This error usually means that the username and/or password are wrong. Obviously, as these are embeded in the router, that should not be the case if you have connected before. It may be a stale connection. I am fairly sure T3 will fix this in a very short time, although it is frustrating to have to wait on them. Am I right in thinking that your internet light is on, indicating that you are syncing with the exchange?
