Steps to open emails on the Sky Website pse

I have had a Sky Broadband account since January 2007. No problems setting up and it has worked flawlessly ever since. Much faster and reliable than my previous Broadband supplier called Metronet who I was with for several years.

I would be very grateful if someone could tell me the exact steps to take to get to the point on the Sky Website where I can access my emails when I am away from home. I have gone round and round in circles for ages and not found it yet.

to be totally honest, I think you are far better using googlemail which offers both web-based and pop3 email collection for free and is far better than sky's offering.

      sign up here:

      https://www.google.com/accounts/NewA...d6&type=2&gd=1

then when in your mail account go to settings and 'forwarding and pop' and there are instructions there.

Re: Steps to open emails on the Sky Website pse

      Back to my original question.
I have looked at Googlemail but the presupposes that I would want to use a Google email address. What I want to do is simple view my emails on my Sky account when I am away from home. Can anyone tell me what the exact steps are on the Sky Website please.

Re: Steps to open emails on the Sky Website pse

newSkyBOd has posted you a link.

Dont understand your comment re googlemail. It does the same as sky but a damn lot better. Your choice, but as you will know from reading the forums, the sky portal is very poor.

I use googlemail, but bought my own domain name so i have exactly the email address that I wanted and the reliability of googlemail as my mail server so I can access my mail on the web away from home or on outlook at home. And I never have to change my mail addrss if i change ISPs.

Anyway, sorry for not answering your original question. I was attempting to be helpful. Oh well!

Sorry Rehwarfcrew I was not intending to be ungrateful. I was just not aware that I could use Googlemail with my own Sky email address. I am still not quite sure what you mean but thanks anyyway.
