      Lightbulb Closed Thread?????

      Hi,

I read with interest the thread about Re:0800 no for Sky BB Support.
I do understand why NewsreadeR closed the thread is as it got too personal and this forum is to help people not attack them.

However I do believe there has to be a balance.

My experience when contacting Sky (for TV) has never been positive.
I have been kept on hold for long periods of time and almost always never had my query resolved. I do not feel that this is good customer service.
I would be happy to pay for a 10 minute call and come out smiling but that has never been the case.
The last time I contacted Sky about my TV subscription I was on hold for over '40' minutes and was passed to '3' different departments. In the end I emailed Sky a complaint and did received a credit on my account.
If Sky want to retain their customers and use 0870 numbers to fund their CS department then the CS has to improve a great deal.

Although indefatigable may be good at 'their' job, this cannot be said of ALL Sky CS agents. Unless you are the victim of poor customer service then it is hard to understand some of the other members rants.
I do sympathise, but everyone should remember that this forum was started to 'Help' people and keep this in mind when posting.

I am about to go home and install my Sky BB as my line went live this morning (I left my old modem connected so I could see when my line was activated) as Sky stated in my letter.
I have no complaints so far and hope that this will remain the case. We shall see......................!

I cannot disagree with that whatsoever, however, there is a huge difference between phrasing it like that and certain other ways.

Exactly, thank you for taking the time to post your feedback and for understanding the aims of SkyUser.
