Sky Customer support is a joke

help me guys something majorly wrong with my sky box...

my box broke about 2 weeks back (wired connections would no longer work)...only just got the new one after they "forgot to deliver it". Just plugged my new box into the phone line pc etc etc an the internet light ("I") doesnt appear on the front of the (new) box. Just spent an hour on phone to customer support who think theres a problem with my line....however there is clearly not a problem with my line as im bloggin on this site this very second...using the broken box an its workin wireless connection.

wats wrong guys i desperately need help...family need the use of other pcs in my house.....

If the "I" is not lit on the front of your router there may be another reason for this. As NewsreadeR pointed out there was an outage today on the connect package but your "I" light should have lit up! (I think, mine was.)

I have had an outage today but my "I" light remaind lit and my router synced just fine, I simply was not being issued with an ip address. (Error 300)

i seem to be suffering a similar problem . after the outage my SKyBB has come back and it syncs according to the router stats page but when i test it all i get from it is error code 300.
Have banged my head against the wall that is is Sky customer services in India and despite my protests that its not my computer which has no viruses or anything to do with my internal wiring ( my router is plugged directly into the master socket which is then connected to my pc via LAN). According to them my connection is fine but have run some speed tests and am only downloading at around 250kb/s whilst uploading at around 350kb/s. Now my speed has never been that great normally around the 3500kb/s but this is way way better than what im getting now.
SO after all this rambling what i really want to now is did you sort out your problem and if so how

      Hi

On Connect there is a 10 day training period, how long have you been connected?
