every now and again i get disconnected the time inbetween disconnections can be from 1hour up to 8 hours, Although it comes back on straight away it is annoying as hell when im in the middle of playing cs:s.
I tried a few thing such as :-
Turned uPnP off
Had tier 1 do a tone test.
Tried engineer socket.
Reset the rooter.
Had line checks done and checks on local exchange both came back fine.
Now i got to wait 3-5 days for tier 3 to get back to me while they find the problem out.
it is royally peeing me off. Any thing any of youw ise people could suggest please?

Sadly it sounds like an error 300 issue.
Don't count on the 5 day callback - I have been waiting 3 weeks or so for one.
In the "tier 3" thread on this page there is a number for tier 3 - call them - be prepared to wait over an hour to get through. (better than weeks waiting) and see what they can do.
In my experence it will be one fo two things :-
your speed get reduced
it gets referred to BT (another 5 working days)
If they reduce your speed sometimes it stabalises and your fine, or in cases liek mine it doesn't, it keeps on happening and your back to waiting 5 more days etc etc.
I truly wish you good luck and hope it is not error 300. To check, when it is down, goto broadband router page and do the "sky test" button.
