While all that is correct, if the Sky site is saying that he should be able to get Sky at 5 per month then that doesn't explain why they are refusing to lower his price.

newskyBOd, what exactley does the Sky site say when you enter your details ?

Re: sky connect paying 17 a month

I signed up for the connect service on Sunday.
The internet check said 5/month and one-off payment of 20
I subscribe to Sky Sports and SkyTalk.
When I phoned they said 17/month and 40.
I insisted they did the check again and it became 5/month and 20

Another option if they refuse (but you will have to do this quickly) by sounds of it your still in cool-off, so cancel it, then re-apply and get the 5 price.

Still works out cheaper than 17 a month, he will save 12 every month - saving 144 over the 12 months
