I did phone bt as needed account number but they are not allowed to give it to me due to security.

Mine was the 7th and it is still the same. Spoke to Sky on Friday, took 30 min to get through and he said there was a backlog and I should be up and running Monday. Ring back if not. I am not holding my breath

I was supposed to be activated on the 8th September but have as of now still have not been connected. According to http://www.dslzoneuk.net/ "An order for ADSL or an ADSL regrade is in progress on this line." not much information there but I don't think I have my last BT bill to hand so I can't check BT's online account thingy.

My dad uses them then throws them away as no longer needed.
Ps I phoned sky again for an update and was told should be the 14th September which means I will have to pay my previous isp £21.49 for access as money is due to them for the 13th Sept to the 13th Oct.

Hello everyone, first post. Great site, very informative.
I've tried this BT tracker thing and I have one order and when I click on it it says CHANGE at the top and under details it says CEASE. The date is 14th September. Is this just the closing of my old Tiscali account?
There are no other orders, despite Sky telling me this afternoon that I would be activated today (as per my letter).
Can anyone advise?
