Why are you going for "connect"? Ok, I guess you cannot sign up to Free, Mid or Max at the moment.

      But isn't Connect 40 activation + 17pm?

Surely there are better deals out there with other ISP's?
Don't want a 12 month contract? I'm sure there are some short term or even month-by-month contracts available (Virgin?)

Asked him if he knew of this site, as we're spying on them he said NO so gave him the url

Asked him about the missing routers, stated that the call centre staff, dont really get told what goes on. They just process the orders.

Ordered the Connect package. The call lasted about 10 mins, explained everything to me, however definitely reading off a card tho. He explained that i would get a phone call / email in the next couple of days

FYI the signup centre is open til 11pm during the week, easy, painless oh and of course the call was free.

But I am still curious why you are signing up to Sky Connect. Why SKy and not another ISP?

I am paying 24.00 a month with a poor service @ F2S so even with that i am only 16.00 out of pocket, free upgrade when LLU enabled and a nice spanking new router, when it arrives

On a monthly contract now for existing, been with them for 12 months, previously with Plusnet for about 5 to 6 years. If an ISP is good, i dont mind paying for the service. However i am now 7.00 a month better off :-)

Fair enough. I hope that Connect turns out as a good stable service.

I agree - I dont mind paying for a good ISP. Thats something that Sky has not been for me so far. I'm not throwing in the towel quite yet though.

Paul, not trolling - just stating my experiences with this.

NewsreadeR - as I stated on another post, I am not after compensation, all I want is a stable connection. I'm not the one on here bragging about being offered loads of comp from Sky, nor do I want any.
