      Doesn't really matter what your exchange is capable of, if you're too far away to actually get it


      Have a read of: http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/speed...explained.html

      Based on the attenuation/speed/distance table there, you'll never be able to get much more than 2mbps.


      But, to make it worse, your noise margin is poor too, so your router has an even lower sync speed.


      Was it definitely the *test* socket you tried, not simply the master?

      Yes, it was definately the test socket, they would be impossible to confuse!

      I think it's back to NTL for us in a few days then!
