      Re: Rebooting router... everyday

Just done a check on stats. The CRC's are looking high but would like your opinion. I've sent off for the new face plate from ADSL Nation and got the NTE-5 instead of the XTE-5 (not in stock till 31st May ). Is there a big difference between them or is it just the price?
      Thanks again

      Re: Rebooting router... everyday

Yes the CRCs are very high but not consistently across the time periods so the noise is intermittent in nature. Hopefully it is rf (am) noise which tends to be higher in the evenings (I say hopefully because filtered faceplates are particularly good at filtering this). Disconnecting the ring wire will also help remove this type of noise but it shouldn't be necessary with a decent filtered faceplate.

Sorry, I don't know the differences between the two ADSLnation faceplates.
