      I'm happy to report that my bb is now back to it's normal speed. Have no idea if ringing Sky yesterday helped at all as she said my problem would need to be passed on to the techs. Well late this morning the speed picked right up and is now back to the speed I got when I first came on Sky's service.

      Fingers crossed it doesn't go again!

      I'm new also. I decided to look for some proper help after losing connection again last Friday and not getting any explanation from SKY!!

      alison240, my gf's parents vista laptop is showing "local connection only" and cannot access the internet even though the router appears to be showing a connection.
