      Leave router on all the time or switch off ?

      Hi Guy's, Whats the opinion on this one ?
      Is it best to leave on 24/7 or switch off when finished with at night ?

      Yup there is no need to turn it off so leave it on.

      left their computer on for 2 years.

      I bought new computer 7 months ago and ive still yet to switch it off.. router hasnt been switched of in years!

      Green issues aside the reason why many people leave electronics on 24/7 is that switching off and on can cause the solder joints to expand and contract eventully resulting in dry joint failures.
