      Error Code Help

      Normal Procedure for error codes
which can be conducted by accecsing the GUI, router settings page.. 192.168.0.1 and clicking on SKY TEST button at the bottom of the page..

Error Code 100 - Normally a fault with the actualy Physical Setup, either using extension cables, not using filters, has Sky Tv conected to same filter as broadband box or not using the Master Telephone Socket.

Check all these out before anything else, this fault can also be raised to level 3 S/C ( Speed&Configuration ) to check margins and errors on line.

Error Code 200 - Connection from Broadband Box to Radius Server Problem, this can be fixed by leaving your router SWITCHED ON but leaving it UNTOUCHED ( Remove Yellow ethernet Cable ) for 48 hours, the radius server will re-authenticate.

Error Code 300 - Normally a Stale Session at your used Exchange, this can be fixed by switching your router OFF for 40 minutes.

      Re: Error Code Help

Actually error code 100 indicates no sync and error code 200 and 300 are both authentication issues, both of which can have numerous causes and numerous fixes.

The first thing for all 3 is to check your physical setup and restart the router. The next step would be to have Tier 3 configure your connection.

There is no need to ever wait for 48 hours.

Also error code 200 can indicate that your line has been hijacked and put back onto your old ISPs connection.
