      Re: Poor speeds.

Mex package doesnt mean your going to get 16MB it says UP TO 16mb, what your getting is very good, condidering half of sky customers arent getting anything

How long do you live from your exchange, make sure you have no extension cables and are connected into the master socket, make sure your using all the filters on any telephone sockets you are using, peopel don't think this matters but it does, also having your Sky TV connected to same socket as broadband will reduce speed.

      Re: Poor speeds.

Your connecting close to the top speed for the Max package and have good attenuation and a decent noise margin.

      Try running this:

      Optimising your Broadband Connection

then try a speed test from here:

Namesco BroadbandMax ADSL Broadband Bandwidth speedtest | Test your ADSL Broadband connection speed

Some people have also reported that the connection improves over the first couple of days, although I can't comment on that personally.

Cheers. That TCPOptimizer program seems to have done the trick.

      Getting 12mb speeds now.
