New to MAX, Router appearance?
Hi,
I';m getting Sky installed on Monday, and the guy on the phone said the engineer will install the broadband stuff with him too. I guess that means he'll bring the wireless router?
And does this mean i will be enabled straight away when he is here?

You're already enabled if the router is on its way.
Don't be surprised if the "installer" calls you at 7.00AM just to check you'll be in for when he visits. Then don't be surprised if he spends less than 10 minutes "installing" (a.k.a. unpacking and plugging in) the router.
Fortunately, ours worked immediately -- but I would have been amazed if the guy could have found and fixed any problem. I later had to neutralise the UPnP bug that ruined wireless connections -- and that was only with support from the excellent skyuser.co.uk
