Re: How long for welcome pack to arrive?

My router and activation letter turned up a couple of days after my line had been changed over to Sky. The chap who I spoke to on the phone was very appologetic and was typing an email to someone (because I could hear him at his keyboard) as we spoke.

Well my activation date is today, still no welcome pack or router so I have no idea if my BB is on. it has been almost 2 months now. Anyone else been waiting this long?

Re: How long for welcome pack to arrive?

Just called Sky again. Apparantly because my first order failed because BT said my line was not clear, the order status where my welcome pack is dispatched was overlooked. Latest eta is that my welcome pack will arrive in ten days.

At least the person I spoke to today was honest and tried to help me. I object to being lied to by somebody in a call centre. I'm not the kind of bloke to lose my temper, I just like to know what is happening and what is being done.

I think that is the worst case senerio, I had to chase them up about my missing router and I was told the same but it turned up two days later.

Re: How long for welcome pack to arrive?

Sorry to mislead, the bloke on the phone did explain that ten days was the worst case scenario. Now I'm hoping mine will turn up in two days like Alan_B's!
