      Slow speeds

      Hi,

I'm quite dissapointed with the speeds i'm receiving. I'm on max, my router syncs at 13059 kbps but my download speed is at max ~ 4000kbps. Heck, some speed tests i've maxed 900 kbps!

Anyway, i'm sure your sick to death of seeing these logs, but i'd greatly appreciate if you could help me figure out the issue. If it helps, i'm running on windows vista, all 4 connections on the router are used, but atm only the computer I am typing this from is on. I can't get to the test socket, it's too far away. I'd have to use really long cabling, which would kinda defeat the point.

      Well, heres the stats:

      Re: Slow speeds

I am a bit surprised you have not had a reply to this. The experts must be a bit busy
Where are you getting the download figure of 4000 kpbs? Your stats look very good, I wish mine were near them. Remember not every site will give you the maximum speed, it depends on how busy there are. Try a test at Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test and post your results. You should be getting far better than you say. Another good real world test is to download a large file from MS. I find they are able to top out my speed most days. S0omething like a .NET framework should do. Time it in real time.
