      fed up of poor pings on gaming servers. can never get below 50 because of my interleaving. can i do anything to speed up my gaming?

      what do people think to the above stats?

      any advise?

      i am on wireless. sadly my pc is upstairs, router downstairs so only option.

      why would my speed drop so much though?

      Wireless, especially on some of the Sky routers, seems to be notoriously unreliable in terms of download speed and connection between router and pc. I suspect that you will find it's worse in the evenings, as with most other forms of wireless.

      You could try experimenting with different wireless channels in case your neighbours' wireless is interfering. Also, make sure you keep the router away from possible sources of interference such as other electrical items, phones, sky box, water pumps etc. You may even consider getting extended range aerials and such. But, in the end, you may just be better off using long cables.
