Thanks for this info Oneiros, this might prove useful.

However the cynic in me wonders how you can trust if the agent is telling the truth, considering how many times I have now been blatantly lied too. What we need is some form of physical proof so we can see for ourselves that the change has been done, I know that would be practically impossible unless we where allowed into the exchange!

I have sent another email to James Murdoch hoping for a more sensible reply including a copy of a letter I received back in July 2006 that stated quite clearly that Connect customers would be moved to Sky LLU as soon as your exchange was unbundled, this has definetly not happened in my case as well as loads of other connect customers.

Re: Connect to Mid/Max, anyone yet!!

Hi, thanks for the replies, i have just spoken to Sky again who told me that it takes up to 10 days (BT standard provision/change time for DSL) to migrate from Connect to LLU.

      I found my migration order details on the BT order tracking site Site is redirecting...please wait using the 'Track your landline order' link. This told me that an order was placed on the 21st April and is due by the 1st May, details below;

PROVIDE LLU LINE SHARE PSTN 1 0.0 0.0
PROVIDE SMPF TO SMPF MIG. ON TACTICAL 1 0.0 0.0

Re: Connect to Mid/Max, anyone yet!!

I got a reply back from Customer Relations this morning with so hopefully good news.

She has been advised by the Service Recovery Team that a manual order has been placed to migrate me from Connect to LLU, this should occur around the 2nd or 3rd May 2007 but as yet no order appears on the landline tracker. I suspect the order may have been placed today so probably take a couple of days to show on the system.

      I will keep you updated.

Re: Connect to Mid/Max, anyone yet!!

Well they were true to their word! About half an hour ago the router went off for about a minute - when it came back on it it had synched at 8096/768.(on Connect I had been synching at just under 5000). So far so good. With newsgroup downloads at a very steady 6800. So I am well pleased with the increase in speed. Only thing is the noise margin has dropped to around 8db from 12-13 but from what I read that should be OK.

So exactly 6 months from exchange being enabled I am now tranferred. Good luck to the rest of you.

Re: Connect to Mid/Max, anyone yet!!

Have checked BT's orderstatus and found this...
      Order tracking: Order detail
      Order reference LFV723ES
      Placed 25 Apr 2007
      Description CHANGE
      Appointment No date yet
      Date due 03 May 2007
      Status In progress
      Last update 25 Apr 2007
Notes Your order is in progress.

      Items in this order
Description Product name Quantity Cost Rental
PROVIDE LLU LINE SHARE PSTN 1 0.0 0.0
PROVIDE SMPF TO SMPF MIG. ON TACTICAL 1 0.0 0.0

Looks like connect is getting switched to mid.

Re: Connect to Mid/Max, anyone yet!!

Still no order appearing on the BT Landline tracker for me, looks like another email to Customer Relations!

I'll have a dig around the site to see if I can find the SRT number and give them a call since the Customer Relations person tells me this is who advised her of this.

Re: Connect to Mid/Max, anyone yet!!

Just called the Service Recovery Team, my order has been "delayed" and they did not know why. He has passed my case to the Order Management Team who will be in touch and see the case through to conclusion.

I have now lost all faith in the folks at Sky, we shall see if the OMT folks call me or not, I don't hold out much hope.
