Any explanation for dropping sync speeds?

Hi, when i first got sky broadband on the mid package i was syncing around 7000, this then dropped suddenly a few months ago to the low 4000s then yesterday i couldn't connect for a while and when my connection came back up i was at 3500 and can't get it to connect any higher.

I'm using an ADSLnation filtered face plate and have tried connecting directly to the master socket with no increase in speed i have also tried another router with the same results, my stats are as follows:

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 3466 kbps 396 kbps
Line Attenuation 39.0 db 21.9 db
Noise Margin 7.1 db 11.0 db

Does anyone have any idea why this has happened?
