Can you give us some more information?

      We need your stats

      http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/view-routerstats.html

Also if possible try from your test socket, which is behind your master socket

      http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/view-master.html

The stats before and after would help us loads.

Your router is synced at 4512 so you should get better speeds than you are saying, also your noise margin is a little low.

      Re: Huge Problems with Sky

If you can, as NewsreadeR said, you need to try to narrow down the cause of the noise if possible.

By taking a reading from the test socket, you rule out any faulty wiring to extension sockets within the house.

Are you connecting via wireless or a direct cable connection ? (wireless can be prone to interference or problems with other equipment in the vicinity, such as DECT phones it would seem) - so if possible, connect direct to the router with a cable.

The routers provided by Sky do appear to have a bug in them, where the attenuation can appear artificially low (reading around 7 or 15.1dB), so it might also be worth trying several reboots to see if the figures it's giving you change.
