      Domain/Hosting on Sky?

Just waiting for my pack to arrive to set up Max.

Thinking of setting up a basic website to upload family pictures etc but dont lmow much about it yet other than you need a domain and hosting provider. Ive read that some ISP providers provide such a thing. Just wondered if Sky did anything and if so is it easy to set up?

      thanks

I wouldnt trust free-hosts anyway, Alot no matter how big they say they are, End up messing about and you loose your stuff.

Atleast with a paid host, You have some reassurance that your charge covers some backing up/retrieval method.

But for FREE - Its perfect for the odd picture family site.

yes i agree with you 100% the same goes with BB - #5 a month still ensures some sort of comeback in times of need- in my view if you don't pay for it you can't complain

      Re: Domain/Hosting on Sky?

If you just want a very basic site, Google Pages might do the job:

      About Google Page Creator

You only get 100MB of space and it's all web based, so no FTP. It's very easy to use though.
