      Just got Sky Connect (moved from Telewest)

      Router Stats look ok'ish, but speeds from Speedtest etc are painfully slow.
      Namesco BroadbandMax ADSL Broadband Bandwidth speedtest | Test your ADSL Broadband connection speed gives me:
      • Download Speed: 254 kbps (31.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
      • Upload Speed: 283 kbps (35.4 KB/sec transfer rate)



      All help gratefully received before I brave the Sky BB telephone support lines

      You are on Connect, so there is a ten day training period in which it should improve.

      The stats you posted : Attenuation 13db and Noise Margin 14.1db are excellent, you should be able to receive full 8meg download speeds.

      Monitor it for the first few days (if still in your first ten days), if you are already past the ten day period get on the phone to them straight away.
