      Setting up broadband with your own router

      Sorry - i fear this question has been asked many times, but please humour a technophobe!!

      We have had a message saying broadband is now active. We have still ot had the router delivered so my husband wants to use the existin router we have but we do not have the login details we need. Can anyone help?

      Welcome to the forum

      Sorry but you need your username and password to use another router - trouble is they are both in your (undelivered) Sky router and there's no way Sky or anyone else can get them for you.

      You can use your own router but you can't until you have the Sky one as you need to extarct your username and password that are stored in it. On then can you use your own one.
