      I have cheked all 3 pcs and all are set to obtain IP and DNS Server address automatically. thats good rite

      Have you worked out what that "unknown" device was? If all your laptops/PCs were already set up properly then I suppose there's a chance that a neighbour has happily logged onto your wireless network (with a fixed IP) and is happily using your connection. You haven't turned off wireless security on the router have you?

      That's not necessarily a problem. if you haven't given the PCs a name in network properties then they will appear as unknown.

      turn off all PCs except one. What/how many are showing now?

      As a temporary measure, turn off the wireless connection, reboot the router and check for 'unknown devices'

      I cant turn eathe of the other pc's off at the moment, ther in use for work and study, But if you could tell me how to turn off the wireless bit please

      Well I think I might have cracked it

      When I instaled Sky I did it on all 3 computers, stupid yes I know

      I have removed it from the other 2 and so far fingers crossed all seams ok

      Mind you I would watch this space just in case

      Still geting 2 unknown devices but hay if its working
