Only been active for a couple of days and my line speed has been up and down more times than a *****s drawers!

The advice on here has been brilliant but now i'm at a loss for where to go. I've run TCP optimizer, disconnected the ring wire etc.

Current stats as follows, any advice would be appreciated.

I'm not an expert on this but even with your high line attenuation I am sure you should a higher connection speed than that. Have you been on to tech support ?
Try this Sky Netgear DG834GT utility version 0.3 and post the results and i'm sure someone will be able to help

Re: Yet another request for help!

Almost certainly you've been capped at the speed your router is reporting. To confirm this you would need to connect the router directly to the test socket with the supplied router cable.

Sky often cap customers when they find errors on the line. The stats you posted clearly show that you do have errors - possibly not the worst I've seen but up there

To get that level of errors when you've been capped at such a slow connection speed suggests your line problems are really bad. How are you connected?

If you manage to get the line problems sorted and you are uncapped, with your attenuation you should get a connection speed of ~2250kbps. Unless you need the "unlimited" nature of Max and the higher upload speed, you should be on Mid or even Base.
