      Failing BB Connection "LCP DOWN"

I have had a problem with my broadband from day one, I will try and keep it short but i'm hoping someone can help me. My Broadband does work but it keeps re-syncing everyday and at one point it would not sync at all so BT had to call around and they could not get it to work either so they said they would come back the next day to try me on another line but guess what they never showed up. However my broadband did start to sync again so all was not lost.....

To cut a very long story short I have fairly good stats and I have tried five different routers since I was connected on the 21st Feb 2007 but same problem.

It shows up in the log as an LCP DOWN failure, here are my logs for last night:

And here are my current line stats:

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 4448 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 48.0 db 29.0 db
Noise Margin 14.3 db 20.0 db

This is really starting to get on my nerves, when I pointed these error messages out to BT the engineer did not have a clue as to what I was talking about, he simple wanted to plug in his modem and see a green light then leave!

Can anyone offer me any help or advice? I know there is not a problem my end because BT said the problem lies with the exchange or actual line??
