Loss of connection and loss in game

      Hi

Im new to the forums and have tried many of the help options on here but to no avail

Right my problem is that after about 5 ish i get disconencted at random times while playing counterstriek source and being on either ventrilo or ts2

Also i get 30 loss constant for long periods of time

I have tried it on wireless (with uPnP off ) and through a cable

ALso my brother gets same problem when he is connected but it does not affect at all when his PC is turned off

      I am on sky max

Any help what so ever would much widely appreciated

Im assuming its ether a router / line problem but want to know 100% before i am forced to ring up sky or email tech support

      Many thanks

      Nathan

Run this Sky Netgear DG834GT utility version 0.4 use it to obtain your detailed router stats and post it in the router stats thread asking someone to have a look, it should show detail of any problems your router may or may not be having.

Re: Loss of connection and loss in game

Ok thats the sort of thing we need but it doe's look like the router had only been running for about 15 minutes when they were taking, you need to post them after it has been running a while, preferably a good few hours, also better to see the stats from the time of day you have more problems, some people have more problems in the evening when everyone is on line.

Re: Loss of connection and loss in game

Mmmm that could be a problem if you cant get stats over a period of time, what is displayed dosen't look too bad but its only 15 minutes, Are you plugged into the master socket?

Ok there is a main point in the attic where the phone line comes into an i think out system is before these test sockets
