      incredibly poor connection speed

      despite the fact that I was down for 2 weeks with no internet and the sky router arrived a few days AFTER the long waiting activation date.. I AM NOW CONNECTED

      However the connect speed is very poor with a merely 1.2mb (much worse than what i was on before.

      DownStream Connection Speed 1536 kbps
      UpStream Connection Speed 704 kbps

      I have it plugged into not the main socket but i am not running extension and things..

      Is there anyway I can improve performance?

      I am on MAX and what a waste.

      You need to post your router stats so we can see what is going on.
