      What are you using it for though?

      It works for about 3 minutes then disconnects every other minute.

      If it works with you what the problem here?

      Iv tried 2 PC's with there FW's disabled and also disabled the NetGear Firewall. Tried numerous FTP clients, some with passive FTP, some not.

      The exact same result, disconnects....

      Im just looking for a new ISP, but id rather get this crappy Sky to work, save a lot of hassle and money.

      Using Ipswitch WS_FTP pro here and it's working just fine, I've used others and they work fine as well.

      When it disconnects does everything else continue to work ok ? Is your connection generally stable?
      Might be worth checking router stats for errors etc.

      Re: SKY BROADBAND Does NOT support FTP!! WTF!!

      I think its my sites servers problem, as i tried ftp on another server it seemed ok.

      I am blushing a bit as it looks* like my side of things, but it doesnt really help when you are told on the phone that Sky doesnt support FTP. I asked her ( i think it was a she ) 3 times to confirm this and she seemed sure about it.

      How can these people be given jobs!!!!

      * not confirmed yet

      Re: SKY BROADBAND Does NOT support FTP!! WTF!!

      Yawn when the folks in T1 say its not supported they mean tech support wise its not supported.

      If he said it any other way then he probably got confused.
