      new telephone Cable

      if i buy a new telephone cable (belkin or somethin) to connect to my router, will it make my connection faster and by how much, or do they only work for analouge modems

      I would guess that cable is for analogue modems, not broadband and I don't know how they can substantiate a claim that it would speed anything up 10x.

      There are threads in various forums on this site (skyuser.co.uk) which will show how to improve performance of your router's connection to the phone system.
