I was supposed to be activated on the 5th Sept. To this date Sky can not provide me with an activation date. Provisioning are saying there is a backlog with manual migrations. My BT tracker has no date, Iíve tried calling Sky many times just get the same old ****. I'm on the Wembley exchange anyone having problems the same as this.

Now its time to write a very long letter of complaint. Putting me back on Sky Movies for free for another two years should lower my blood pressure.

BTW if I call BT would this be of any help to me. Any ideas will be much appreciated.

BT & Sky, must have hired the same contractors, as Wembley Stadium Ltd

@Unregistered BT & Sky, must have hired the same contractors, as Wembley Stadium Ltd

I reckon that will be finished before I get connected.

I'm exactly the same, albeit on the St Albans exchange. I should have been activated on the 4th. Modem delivered and seems fine, but no activation on the line. I'm not even converting from another provider - there has never been an ADSL service on the line.

The BT tracker shows the order, but doesn't give any further detail.

my activatio date was suppose to be yesterday - 12 september

called sky who are as much use as a chocolate teapot and was advised that there is a delay at bt end and they dont know how long it will be

i then rang bt direct and was advised that i would be connected today - as to wethere that happens or not is another thing

but it is apparent that delays are occuring and sky are aware of this and not telling people until peopl ring them up

That's the problem. Sky know there is a massive backlog yet they do not inform thier customers. Which number did you call BT on. I think I may have to do the same. My dsl light on my router went off last night. Hopefully this is a sign that they are doing something.

Finally I have a date, 15th Sept. I hold my breath and wait. Maybe there is light at the end of this very long tunnel.

      Unhappy Todays come and gone

Oh well got a call today at 8.30 to say the engineer would be here before 9am (whoop Joy), ten to nine he arived and everything was connected.....

Yep I'm another with no line activiation...

I'm moving from NTL cable as I feel like I was being ripped off (total bill is almost £60 sa I was on 10MB and they make you take a phone line at £15 too) and they have been increasing the pricing with no notification!

However I have not canned NTL yet so still have a connection, just really disapointed like so many other on these boards.

Well see if the couple of days promised happens!
