      Connected now disconnected !

      The answer to this question may be obvious but I am at my wits end. Signed up for Sky and got connected last Monday. Fine till Thursday night at 17:30 disconnected and cannot reconnect.
      Spoke to customer services and tried the tone test - no joy. Have waited all weekend for L2 to get back.
      I have tried my old router with the user name / password / MAC address from the router but no joy.
      The new router never flashes the I (Internet) light at all.

      My question is why would I be on it with no problems and then suddenly lose it. I thought it may be hardware but a friends netgear acts the same way if plugged in with no phone line so not obviously a fault.

      I migrated from BT and their order tracker says this:

      Does this look right or have BT messed it up?

      Any thoughts would be appreciated.

      Normally if the job had been finished it would quite clearly say completed.

      Possibly a BT problem, as you have ruled out equipment at your end.

      Welcome to a world of Sky BB pain:

      ADSL line gone dead 3 days after activation :-(

      Hope my experience and tips for a successful outcome are of use to you.

      Just a guess, but is it possible you were temporary on Connect, that has been ceased and you are now waiting to be transferred to Sky LLU?

      Well well well,
      Monday morning 8am has rolled round and the internet is back on. Tested the gear on another setup and fine.

      Can't figure out what has happened. Perhaps its just to condition me to what Sky has to offer although I suspect its quite possibly not their fault. hmmmm very odd

      Not in my case. My exchange has been LLU enabled for Sky/Easynet since January. I went straight onto the Mid package.

      I have almost the same situation and freaky as well as dates are the same except the order date, I ordered early March. I've posted in the other thread as well.

      Currently awaiting my ticket to be picked up by T3, or, the connection to randomly spring into life. I can hope!
