Thumbs down Max Upgrade (Being Lied To)

      Arghhhhh

Thursday found out my exchange had been Max Enabled, called to get an upgrade and was advised this is all ok, upgrade requested should be live in the next 30 days and get a letter early this week

Just called to find out where the letter was and spoke to Tech Support, only to be told cannot manually be moved accross as this will kill my connection, and she will get into trouble for it!! I have to wait to be automatically moved accross (regardless of previous conversation)!! Basically from the day I signed up I've been lied to, this could be months when looking at the (hellish) stories of other forum members.. I'm stuck on Connect

      Anyone help or offer advice?!

As a heads up, it normally takes 30 days for an exchange to be made active for the LLU connections set. Even though the exchange is activated, they still have to do checks on the cabling etc so that another Paisley does not happen.

Re: Max Upgrade (Being Lied To)

My exchange was unbundled about 6 weeks ago, but sky did tell me when I signed up that I would be on connect for up to 6 months and that sometime during that 6 months I would be changed over when they were able to. This was all made very clear to me but it seems it wasn't made clear to a lot of people who signed for connect. Seems sky CS messed up somewhere again.

You can always try again although, from what I understand, sky will change you over when they are ready.
