      Sky Network not connected

Hi, Iím after a bit of help if possible please.
I recently switched off the wireless on my Sky broadband after setting up a Tenda Nova mesh setup because my sky wifi was not great. I have an 8 port switch connected to the sky hub Ethernet 1 port and the Tenda connected into the port 2. My Sky Q tv box is plugged into the 8 ports switch but is saying Iím not connected to the internet and all online features are down. My Sky SSID is still the same and broadband is still connected according to the hub status (192.168.0.1)
So why is Sky not online if the box is hardwired to the switch? Can it only connect via wireless and if so, what can I do?
All my wireless devices are working fine on the new Nova network
      Thanks in advance

It's designed to work on wifi, ethernet is there as a fall back option.

You could connect it to your Tenda Mesh or if the router is close enough you could keep 5Ghz running on the Sky Hub.
Ensure the Tenda has 5Ghz on channels away from ch36 which is what the Q box 5Ghz networking uses.

You need to reset your Sky Q network settings to connect with ethernet.
It works better on wifi in my experience.

      Re: Sky Network not connected

Hi, thanks for the reply. Weirdly, this morning all the on demand services are back on and Q box says it’s connected to the sky wireless SSID again.
Looking on my phone at available WiFi networks, the Sky SSID is available yet wireless is disabled, both 2.4 & 5Ghz.
I tried resetting the network settings in the Q box, is there somewhere in the settings where you can choose which WiFi network it connects to?
      EDIT
I found the network setup menu, I couldn’t access it last night. I’ve changed the WiFi network to the new mesh setup and looks ok.
Im still not sure how the sky WiFi is transmitting its SSID though
