      NETGEAR R7800 Nighthawk X4S

      Anyone know if I can use this with Sky Fibre as a main router not access point for wifi ? I have searched and all post are old and probably outdated ,thanks in advance.

      Unless Netgear has added the required Option 21 settings to their firmware, then no.

      There are several people out there who use the Nighthawks to run their LAN & WiFi, leaving the Sky Hub to dial-up and pass all the connections directly to the Nighthawk. On the whole, it works fine.

      For a long time, I use my own Netgear in such a way. At the moment I'm using the Sky Hub as my main router and the Netgear to run a separate LAN.

      Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
      Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms
