Ghost Sky Wireless 2.4 GHZ Network.

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Since removing skyqhub and both wireless sky boosters, disabling WiFi on both minis and on silver main sky TV box. There seems to still be a sky network ( I recognise the said as the original one for my sky).

This appears on WiFi scans and is not appearing anywhere except on 20 GHz band.

Sky wireless just won't die grrrr... Any ideas on how or why this residual network remains. I am assuming the minis etc still try and talk even when the wireless has been turned off. Any way to kill em dead?

Unplug the mains! I didn’t think minis could operate without a WiFi signal?

I have them on ethernet cables. Old house, thick walls, duff sky kit.

I don't know if I'm remembering correctly, But i seem to recall that the Sky Q system acts as a type of wifi mesh? Perhaps that's what you're picking up?
