      Optimum Setup?

Hi, so have decided to go ahead and order Sky Fibre and Talk.

I have Sky Q TV, so I want to know what the most optimum set up is for best performance for wifi and speed.

Is that to wire the hub to the Sky Q tv box? Turn off Sky Q as a hotspot?

My Hub will be in the hall, directly next door to the lounge where the TV is, so don't really need a hotspot.

I also heard from another user, that the system lowers speed to your device for optimum performance. I don't want that, I basically want the fastest speed I can get to the device I'm using, and not have it slowed down at all.

      Thanks in advance.

      Re: Optimum Setup?

I wired my Q box and miniboxes to the hub and turned off wifi on the miniboxes, I found the mesh too unstable and it worked great. I wasn't aware that the hub had any sort of QOS but I can't check now because I've replaced it with the excellent TP-LINK Archer VR900.
