How to do is here Extract username and password from sr102
Update the router firmware, 1.1.2.3_552 or higher .
      After that

Safe your IP from Sky Router. Sometimes Sky DHCP doesn`t work well , You can use Static IP.

you don't need to extract username and passwords any more. this has been the norm for yonks.

      You just need
      anything@skydsl|passwordofyourchoice (for option 61)
      billion 8800nl V1 (bridge mode)
      Qotom i5 Opnsense with IPV6
      Asus RT-AC88U - as wap

      ECI CAB- G.INP disabled 8th April 2016

May be your way it will work too , but the settings that I show on my video is data that Sky Routers sent to Sky Fiber Server to request an IP and connect the router to Internet.

Don't know if Sky still do it, but you could at one time get Sky Fibre Pro which gave you a static IP, I used to have it until I jumped ship to Zen.

Unless you are on Sky Fibre Pro you're asking for trouble setting a static WAN address. It may hold quite successfully for a while. but if you turn off the router for an extended period there's an extremely good chance you'll end up with no connection when you turn it back on. The Sky BNG will have not received a renew on the lease from your gateway and will put that address back into the pool for re-allocation, it could happen anyway as you are using a static and not sending renew packets.

As SkyECI pointed out, you do not need to extract the username and password on Sky Fibre ( you do on adsl ) as the BNG does not use username|password authentication these days, just so long as you send something in the Option61 field you will be fine.
