      SR102 router - can i swop for another SR102?

My sons 38 Mbps connection has problems and I tried replacing his SR102 with one I'd used when with Sky for a similar connection. I didn't expect it to work but much to my surprise it did and it also solved the WiFi problems at the same time.

Is this a permanent solution or will Sky eventually realise the router isn't the correct one for the account? I left Sky about 6 months ago and is it possible my account details are still active if on a Sky activated line?

      Any thoughts appreciated.

Sounds like they are still active. The user details are coded to the router. I suppose it may well stop working at some point but when I couldn't answer...

perhaps at some point they have a user clear up but if it's working for now them that's all good..
