      NETGEAR R7800-100UKS Nighthawk X4S Working with SR102

      Hi,

Has anyone managed to get a Netgear R7800 Nighthawk X4S working with an SR102.

I am currently on Sky Fibre Unlimited / 40mbps however having intermittent wifi performance issues / slow speed and want to ensure I have all the correct settings set both on the R7800 as well as the Sky Modem SR102.

Hopefully someone on this forum will have this type of router working with Sky S102 an be able to help me.

If you simply want to connect the Netgear to your Sky hub, follow the instructions here - How to connect two Routers together Note that you use one the ethernet ports on the Netgear.

If you want to create a completely separate network, have a look at this method where you must use the WAN port on the Netgear. Using the DLink DIR613.

You could just set it up as a wireless access point and leave the sr102 to do your connection to sky. I would disable the sr102 wifi once you have it working.
