      Port Forwarding Not Working

      Hello All

I'm trying to set up port forwarding after it randomly stopped working. I had a server setup for Minecraft (port 25565) and for a source game called No More Room In Hell (port 27015) I have it set up correctly but it isn't working, I use Avast anti-virus and even with the firewalls turned off it still won't work. I called up Sky and they pointed me towards here.

I've been at this for days and I don't know what else to do.

Like I said this was all working before for months and then it just randomly stopped.

I can't understand what is going wrong.

If anyone can help me please do.

      Thanks in advance.

Try a free for 24 hours VPN trial.

If this works then it's a Sky issue if it doesn't then it's more likely an issue at your end.

A few things to consider and point others in a direction to help.
What OS are you using, from a command prompt enter Winver? I'm assuming your using MS windows.
Have you tried it with avast disabled completely and not just the firewall.
Have you made sure the Windows firewall is not blocking those ports.
Has there been any change to your sky broadband shield level, that you set in MySky?

I will try a VPN to see if it works.

      I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Version 6.1 Build 7601 SP1.
I think I deactivated my anti-virus entirely when I was testing but I will double check.
When I try to manage the Windows Firewall it won't let me and says I have to manage it via Avast. However I was able to look up the Inbound rules, I added rules for the ports I use and it still wouldn't work.

I've never even heard of MySky, I will look into it now.

LOL, You've never heard of MySky?

Start with the simple things first...i.e.your sheild settings!

VPN is very unlikely to be affected.
Silly me!! Thinking you had ruled out the obvious things first, before posting here.
