Belkin N300 Wireless Range Extender Compatibility with Sky Fibre

      Hi,

I've recently changed from Plus.net to Sky fibre. I already had 2x Belkin N300 wi-fi range extenders in the house which worked fine.

Since the change of ISP's I now am having problems accessing and updating emails when connected to either range extender. I assume this is some kind of Sky Firewall and hoped someone might have a fix for this?

      Thanks
      Mark

It is unlikely to be a firewall issue, more likely channel conflict. I assume you have reset the extenders to factory default before connecting to the Sky router? If not please try.

You should also try giving the Sky router a fixed channel instead of depending on its auto setting. Find the best channel by using Inssider or other wifi analyser.
