Unable to visit a web site / Have sky blocked it?

For several days now, I have been unable to visit a web site that I visit often.
It is about 7 webcams around a German town where I was stationed when in the army. Nothing of an adult nature.

I have contacted the local council who run the webcams for tourist purposes, but for me it brings back fond memories.
They say that there is no problem. 'Is it down for me' says it is only down for me.

No matter what browser I use, I get the same result. It times out.

Can some of you try and visit and let me know the result before I complain to sky as I am coming to the conclusion that they are blocking it for some reason.

All advice on this matter gratefully received!

Yes, that would help but in reality I was conducting a psychic experiment.

Not being a mind reader I am not into that Psychic stuff.

Works OK for me, here is one showing a German who likes to keep his chimney warm, or it may be a stork's nest.

OK, so why is it just affecting me?

Any suggestions to get them working again for me?

I am going to have a fiddle and the first thing I will do is delete all cookies.

      It can't be cookies.

I have tried another computer running XP 32 bit and same result.

On my desktop running win 8.1 64 bit I cannot get it.

Same result with Firefox and IE 11.

Has your ip address changed since you last accessed the site?
If it has, it should show up in the router logs.

Occasionally people have problems with a specific site when they've been allocated an address from a block that sky have only recently acquired.

      Mine starts with 5.65.

Re: Unable to visit a web site / Have sky blocked it?

Mine starts with 1.51 which is what it has been for a very long time.

I am waiting for my daughter to get back to me to see if her two computers can access it.

No computer in my house can access this site for several days now.

I can access it via my smartphone on 3g but not when using wifi via sky, so it seems it is a sky issue.

I have made no changes to my router (non sky) at all.

      - - - Updated - - -

Using a proxy to change my ip makes the site pop up as normal, so it is a sky ip problem.

So, any suggestions on getting it fixed?

Re: Unable to visit a web site / Have sky blocked it?

Whenever this has happened in the past, the advice given by people far more knowledgeable than me has been to contact the websites' admin people & report that they must be blocking ip addresses within a certain range.

      Mine for instance is 5.65.237.xxx.
It could be any one of those 4 sets of numbers where the problem lies.
