      Cheers.
I think our line is fairly clean in that case as we're currently synced at the max for our line with ADSL.
So going by the BT checker, it should be capable of between 65 and 47mbps.

I've signed up to the 38mbps Sky fibre and was expecting around 35mbps so I'd be delighted if we got any higher.

Ok, our fibre was activated at 9am this morning and synced at 39998kbps down and 9999kbps up so very pleased with that.
Getting mixed results with throughput though.
Upload speeds are fine with wifi and homeplugs, getting a consistent 9.5 to 10.5 mbps.
Download speeds are varying from 15mbps on wifi, 25-30mbps on the homeplugs and 37mbps with a direct ethernet connection to the router.
I have a couple of spare routers lying around so I'm hoping to incorporate them to help boost the wifi speeds but otherwise very pleased with things so far.

you may want to invest in a decent router if using the internet a lot. I have a Apple Airport Extreme and get faster speeds through wireless, and ethernet also my pings are nearly half on all the tests i do.
I too connect at the same speeds, but via wireless on the sky router its around 28 meg ish, through the AAE its bang on its max 37 meg same. Ethernet is the same. But its pings and wireless coverage the sky router really lack decent quality.

Not a great deal, plug airport into the router via ethernet, into the sky hub. Wait for the airport to power cycle through green, Then if you have a mac go airport utility on the computer and its a 5 min job to create your own network and wpa2 password. Or you could use it as a extension to your sky hub network, which basically input the same wireless details as the sky hub is broadcasting. You need to the turn off the both all your wireless devices and hubs and do a power cycle in the correct way. Thus when you power up in the correct way the wireless devices connect to either or.
search on the forum how to do this.
But for using the airport as a different network its easy peasy.

Re: Due to activate on the 22nd but no Hub yet !!??

Just to update, we've been activated for over a week now and our sync speed hasn't flinched from 40/10.
Managed to improve the wifi by changing channel and now getting around 30-35mbps. The homeplugs have improved too getting the same sort of speeds as wifi so overall, I'm very pleased with Sky fibre up to now.
